MY BED BUG EXPERIENCE
I’m glad you asked! Here’s a quick story that will explain it all. I owned a four unit apartment building. One of my tenants complained about having bed bugs. I paid for an exterminator, they came and sprayed chemicals, but this did not solve the problem.
WHAT OTHERS CHARGE
I even took matters into my own hands and went to a professional pest control services supply store and bought “professional” bed bug pest control products and sprayed myself. I did this repeatedly. This tenant moved out because I could not solve this problem. I did some research and found that heat remediation is the most effective method (only behind tenting your entire house and fumigating the entire house which costs tens of thousands of dollars). I got an estimate from three heat specialists and the average for using heat on 2 two bed room apartments and 2 one bedroom apartments was $4000.00!
I INVESTED IN BED BUG EDUCATION

I then became interested in the business myself and took a course in Arizona and learned about bed bugs and the equipment needed to properly kill them. The 2 biggest lessons I learned are
1: Bed bugs ONLY eat blood, unlike roaches, that is why chemicals are not as effective.
2: When you spray chemicals to kill bed bugs, it will kill some of them but it will cause them to spread because they’re running from the chemicals, thus making them harder to kill.
THE KEY!
According to google and known universally in the pest control industry: “Bed bugs ex- posed to 113°F will die if they receive constant exposure to that temperature for 90 minutes or more. However, they will die within 20 minutes if exposed to 118°F. Interestingly, bed bug eggs must be exposed to 118°F for 90 minutes to reach 100% mortality”.
